WFl Publisher Your email was forwarded to me because I edit the Journal Citation Reports (JCR), the Thomson product which lists impact factors. Coverage for JFAE begins in 2007. Because the JCR requires two prior years of data to calculate an impact factor and create a listing, the upcoming edition of the JCR (2006). Please allow me to clarify that the impact factor is not an assigned value or rating; it is a statistic based on citation data compiled from our database of covered publications. Specifically the impact factor indicates the rate at which a paper in a particular publication is cited during one year. Feel free to visit our website at http://scientific.thomson.com/free/essays/journalcitationreports/impactf actor/ to obtain more details about the impact factor. When responding, please attach my message.
